Rent-affordability is becoming more difficult for many Americans.
"The number of U.S. households that spend at least half their income on rent—the "severely cost-burdened," in the lingo of housing experts—could increase 25 percent to 14.8 million over the next decade."

Many people can not live comfortably because of increased rent while having decreased wages.
"According to the real-estate firm Zillow, renters on average should be spending about 30% of their wages on the cost of their residence to have enough money left over for other expenses. By this standard, San Franciscans would need to be effectively earning $65 an hour to live comfortably."
The charts are pretty much self explanatory. As home ownership goes down the rents go up because of supply and demand.
The problem being that many cannot afford it because the US economy is in the gutter.
Once I thought about things like: why such information is for free here? Because when you write a book then at least on selling a book you get a percentage. Thank you and good luck on informing people more about it!
